CLEAN TECHNOLOGY BASED THERMAL POWER PROJECTS

Suryachakra is committed to implement clean coal technologies. Clean coal technologies are environment friendly and contribute to reduce fuel consumption with higher efficiency. Suryachakra has partnered with Shapoorji & Pallonji(S&P) a leading EPC Contracting Company in Infrastructure segment with proven expertise in successful project execution and commissioning. S&P is action as EPC Contractor and investing in the Equity for 300MW(2x150MW) coal project in Andhra Pradesh.

Suryachakra Energy (Chattisgarh) Pvt. Ltd. [SECPL] is setting up 1320MW(2x660MW) Clean technology/ Ultra Super Critical coal based power plant in Sapos village, Janjgir-Champa District, Chhattisgarh. The project shall be implemented in two phases of 660 MW each. SECPL has a MoU with the Government of Chhattisgarh and the State Investment Promotion Board provides necessary support by way of clearances and approvals. The company has been allocated land and water. Central Electricity Authority has already recommended to the Ministry of Power for coal linkage. The company’s coal linkage application is under active pursuance by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India. SECPL’s SPV Suryachakra Energy (Chhattisgarh) Pvt. Ltd, has entered into a MoU with a State Mineral Development Corporation for allotment of coal under Government Dispensation Scheme(GDS).

Namratha Bizili Private Limited [NBPL] a Suryachakra group company, is setting up a 2x150MW coal based power plant at Gunipudi Village, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh. For land acquisition agreement has been signed. Coal import agreement has been entered into with a leading company in Indonesia.

Suryachakra Thermal Energy (Andhra) Private Limited [STEAPL] is setting up a 1320MW(2x660MW) Clean Technology/Ultra Super Critical coal based power plant in phases at Gunipudi Village, Nakkapalli Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has recommended to the Ministry of Coal for Coal linkage. Coal linkage is under active pursuance. A Detailed project report has been prepared and the project has received permissions/ approvals for usage of sea water. The project location is strategically located for supplementing the fuel supplies to the project through coal imports. CEA has already recommended to the Ministry of Power for coal linkage and the coal linkage application is under active pursuance by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India.Power will be sold in the market.

Suryachakra Thermal (Madhya Pradesh) Private Limited [STMPPL], a Suryachakra group company, is setting up a 1320MW (2x660MW) Clean Technology Super Critical coal based power plant in Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh. The project is being set up under MoU with the Madhya Pradesh Government. Land acquisition is under process. Coal linkage is under process with the MoC. Environment Clearance is under process.

LIGNITE BASED

The Group is in the process of developing upto 200MW as Group Captive Power Plant for supply to textile units in Gujarat. Also, the promoters of the group are setting up a 2 million MTPA Cement Plant along with a Captive Power Plant of 60MW in Gujarat.
